Overcoming a Love Hate Relationship with the Beach with Pam Uzzell

Today’s guest is Pam Uzzell, the creator and host of Art Heals All Wounds - a podcast that’s changing the world - one artist at a time. Pam and I met as members of the “pod squad,” - the slack community created by Squadcast - a remote podcast platform we use to record our shows. Pam reached out to me a few months ago with a wonderful story about her love-hate relationship with the beach. It starts out in childhood and ends in her adulthood - with the series of events in between that helped shape and form her sense of self-worth and belonging. It’s a self-described rom-com of sorts. We talk about the differences between East Coast and West Coast beaches, how relationships reflect who we think we are or should be, and all the ways we listen to the beach - not just with our ears, but deep within our body - and soul.
